Adeel Ahmed

Writer - Director - Producer - Editor

A trained actor and prolific writer, Adeel brings a rich, multi-disciplinary background to storytelling across stage and screen. Studying Performing Arts at Questors Theatre, his acting career spans television, theatre, and live performance, including work for the BBC, Thames Television, and the Lyric Hammersmith. His physical and performance training extends to Classical Indian Kathak and acrobatic tumbling in Beijing, shaping his deep, embodied approach to character development.

Complementing his background in performance, Adeel holds a degree in English Literary Studies and Writing and Publishing Studies from Middlesex University. He spent years as a professional writer, authoring 145 published books on astrology under the pseudonym Zakariya Adeel. This extensive body of work honed his mastery of structure, discipline, and voice. Blending sharp narrative control with performance-driven insights, Adeel continues to write and produce compelling, character-led works for stage and screen.

Yinka Williams

Director - Dancer

Yinka Williams is a versatile British multidisciplinary artist whose career spans acting, singing, dance and directing across theatre, film, television and live performance. Trained at Italia Conti Academy of Theatre Arts, her credits include Bombay Dreams, Laila: The Musical, London Road, Religion of Love and Screaming Without Words.

She has performed at major venues including the Royal Opera House and O2 Arena, internationally and on The Voice UK. Yinka is also an accomplished recording artist, collaborating with producers across Europe. Previously, she has directed some of the Diya Theatre productions and her passion for storytelling has now extends into directing for film and she serves as Co-Director of His Best Man.

Ricky Sharma

Tai

Professionally trained in London and Los Angeles, Ricky has worked across TV and film, with credits including projects for Netflix, ITV and Sky, as well as short films, feature films and TV dramas. His work has also been featured at festivals in London and New York.

Having spent much of his career working on screen, Ricky is really looking forward to stepping into the world of live theatre and experiencing the excitement of performing in front of an audience, in a brand new show for Fringe.

This fringe production is a chance to try something completely different, take on a new challenge and explore another side of acting.

Raimu Itfum

Kaz

Raimu Itfum is an actor and writer. As an alumnus of the Young Vic Theatre Fresh Direction Programme, BFI Shorts Film School, Soho Theatre Writers Lab and Kiln Theatre Writers Programme, he has worked leading organizations including Tate Britain, V&A, The Design Museum, Brixton House,Graeae Theatre, Tara Theatre, National Theatre, Kiln Theatre, Birmingham Rep, MAC, Rose Theatre and Sadler’s Wells. His work has featured in BBC News, Gay Times, Sky Arts and Huffington Post.
As an actor, his screen credits include Bob Marley: One Love and Queer Parivaar. His theatre credits include Fame – The Musical, The Tempest, Mother Courage & Her Children, Mamma Mia, Shooting Truth, King Lear and Chicago. Commercially, Raimu has been the face of brands such as; Levi’s, TUI, NIO Cocktails, Johnnie Walker, Adidas, M&S, Hotel Chocolat and IKEA.
His writing credits include MYTHS: From the Diary of Just a F#@K Boy with Feelings which was seed commissioned by Kala Sangam Arts x Jaivant Patel Company, in 2024. Shorts such as Jheel (2024),Husky Hips (2022), C.O.M.P.L.E.X;ities (2021) and Soli|tidue (2021).   One Night of Bollywood Dreams (2023) and The Boys (2021). 

Emeric Bernard-Jones

Ben

Emeric is an actor, comedian and visual artist with a God complex. He has appeared in comedy slots on C4 and ITV as well as feature films directed by Ridley Scott and Luc Besson and can regularly be found staring unblinkingly into the mirror, gazing at his own reflection.

Saar Zutshi

Geet

Saar Zutshi is an American actor and producer based in London. After studying film production and directing, he began acting in several short films and commercials, with his works being screened at festivals across the United States and Europe, including the Academy Award Qualifying Drama International Short Film Festival and BAFTA Qualifying London Short Film Festival. Alongside His Best Man, Saar's upcoming projects include a major Bollywood feature film as well as a personal passion project short film. His production work also includes his first feature film, a prison crime thriller co-produced by Innovision Pictures, Mixing Productions, and Adrenalin Pictures.

Jessica Andrade

Katana

Jessica Andrade is an actor, comedian, presenter and creative performer with experience across screen, theatre and immersive entertainment. Her credits include Secret Cinema, Soho Theatre and host live events for internationally. With a background spanning comedy, character performance, dance and physical theatre, Jessica brings versatility, energy and a distinctive comedic voice to her work. She is currently developing her screen career across comedy, television and film.

Angus Chau

Cinematographer

With over five years of experience in the Hong Kong film industry as a unit stills photographer and behind-the-scenes director, this London-based Director of Photography and Camera Operator possesses a deep understanding of on-set workflow and visual storytelling. Their portfolio across Hong Kong and the UK spans narrative short films, documentaries, music videos, commercials, and digital media content. Comfortable operating independently on smaller shoots or collaborating on larger production sets, they emphasize clear communication, efficiency, and delivering high-quality, cinematic visuals tailored to project goals. Equipped with their own camera and lighting kit, they bring extensive expertise in lighting interviews and location shoots while consistently producing reliable results under practical constraints.

Sam Wells

Gaffer

Sam Wells is a cinematographer and lighting specialist who graduated from Arts University Bournemouth with a degree in Film Production, specialising in Cinematography. His experience includes working as Gaffer on Requiem, an experimental film selected for the BFI Future Film Festival 2025. Sam has extensive training with industry-standard lighting equipment, including HMI, LiteMat and Astera systems, and holds an ARRI certification. With a strong technical understanding of lighting and cinematography, Sam brings a creative and professional approach to every production. He served as Gaffer on His Best Man, helping create the film’s distinctive visual style.

Oscar Griffiths

Sound Recordist

Oscar Griffiths is a sound recordist based in Brighton with three years of experience in indie filmmaking. Versatile and skilled in multiple facets of filmmaking, Oscar excels at capturing crisp, clear sound across diverse environments and situations.

Maggie Murray

Production Manager

Maggie has over a decade of experience in project management and delivery as a data consultant, and is enjoying bringing her professional and organisational skills to the creative arts sector through supporting new projects in theatre and film. She has a degree in Mathematics from Oxford University, and is also a singer and actor who has performed in venues such as the Hackney Empire and Clapham Grand.

Pia Rauhalina

Choreographer

Pia Rauhalinna began dancing at four and trained at Helsinki Dance Academy in ballet, contemporary, street dance and jazz. After discovering Latin social dance in 2002, it became her main passion. She studied at Dance School Baila Baila with Miguel Verdecia and Soila Sarria, performing internationally, on Finnish television and in Havana Club’s “Loco” promotions. Pia has toured theatres across Finland and London with Seraphim Dance and taught workshops at venues including the Barbican Centre. Her work spans music videos, fashion shows, independent projects and live performance, combining diverse dance influences to create an individual style. She is also a KOKO Foundation Award recipient.

Vera van Veen

Dancer - Camera Assistant

Vera is an international commercial and jazz dancer that has performed on multiple stages across London and Germany. This project solidifies her interest in camera work: dancing in front of the screen and supporting behind it. She’s passionate about how dance is able to shift the energy in a room and as a form of self expression to build self trust and confidence from the inside out. If she’s not on stage she’s exploring how movement can aid as a healing modality with trauma.
